Video: Real Madrid 6 – Dinamo Zagreb 2 (UEFA Champions League Highlights)

Real Madrid secured first spot in Group D of the 2011/12 UEFA Champions League in emphatic fashion with a 6-2 win over eliminated GNK Dinamo Zagreb at the Santiago Bernabeu on Tuesday.

Fielding a weakened squad, Madrid were up 3-0 within 10 minutes of kickoff on goals from Karim Benzema, José Callejón and Gonzalo Higuaín. Mesut Özil added a fourth in the 20th while Callejón and Benzema completed their braces in the 49th and 66th minutes respectively.

Fatos Beqiraj and Ivan Tomečak late consolation goal for the visitors were Dinamo’s first of this competition and the only ones conceded Real Madrid thus far in the 11/12 Champions League.
