Borussia Dortmund debuted their 2022/23 PUMA Cup kit during Friday’s DFB-Pokal win over 186 Munich. The new jersey will be worn throughout the Bundesliga club’s 22/23 domestic cup and UEFA Champions League campaigns.
The BVB 2022/23 Cup jersey is inspired by the adidas home shirt worn by the popular side when they won the 1988/89 DFB-Pokal.
It uses a rounded neck design from PUMA Football in Borussia Dortmund’s familiar home yellow with black details. Blocks of black and white pinstripes run along the shoulders and upper chest to recreate the graphics on the 88/89 kit.
“Borussia Verbindet” (Borussia Unites) is printed in black on the outside upper back of the jersey. The message supports BVB’s theme of unity among the club’s fans, staff, and players that is a central theme of its 22/23 season.
