PUMA King Finale i Soccer Boots

First spotted on the feet of Argentina striker Martin Palermo during the 2010 FIFA World Cup, the PUMA King Finale i has finally been released.

The PUMA King is the market’s longest serving football concept still in existence today–and the King Finale is the next step in its evolution. This design takes cues from PUMA’s 1986 Mexico Finale boot and is revamped with modern technology and materials. It utilizes the PUMA AptoLast which conforms to the natural shape of the foot, providing a snug fit. The upper is a premium K-leather which shapes to the foot for superior touch to the ball. The outsole is made of a lightweight high-performance thermoplastic, elastomeric material and a traditional fold over tongue provides a clean kicking area and improved pressure distribution upon ball impact.

Past incarnations of the soccer shoe were worn by legends such as Eusebio, Pelé, Mario Kempes, Rudi Völler, Lothar Matthäus and Diego Maradona. The King Finale i is the lightest of the lot coming in at only 9.2 oz.

Also in release is the special edition PUMA King Diego Finale i Soccer Boots inspired by Maradona. Stay tuned for a Football Fashion review of it!

The Puma King Finale i is now available at World Soccer Shop.
