Former Portugal international Deco has been officially presented as a Fluminense player.
The Brazilian-born midfielder moves to the Rio de Janeiro side following thirteen years in Europe with Benfica, FC Porto, FC Barcelona and Chelsea. During this time Deco won the UEFA Champions League with Porto in 2004 and again with Barcelona in 2006.
The 32-year-old is expected to make his Fluminense debut against against Vasco da Gama on August 22nd.
Deco started his career with São Paulo’s Nacional Atlético Clube before being spotted and signed by popular Brazilian club Corinthians.
