Landon Donovan assisted on second-half goals from starting forwards Jozy Altidore and Clint Dempsey to give the United States a 2-1 comeback win over Turkey on Saturday.

The match at Philadelphia’s Lincoln Financial Field in front of 55,407 vociferous fans was the Americans’ last before departing for FIFA World Cup 2010 South Africa.

Arda Turan’s effort from a Turkish counterattack in the 27th minute gave the visitors a deserved lead before the hosts’ second-half turnaround.
