The 2023 Australian Women’s National Football Team Kit has been unveiled by Nike and Football Australia ahead of the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023.
The tournament, which will be the ninth edition of the FIFA Women’s World Cup and the first to feature 32 teams, will be co-hosted by Australia and New Zealand from 20 July to 20 August 2023.
The Matildas’ World Cup 2023 home kit features a unique marbled pattern inspired by the golden wattle, a symbol of Australia’s natural beauty and diversity. The pattern reflects the country’s iconic landscapes, from the Outback to the beaches. The inner pride graphic on the jersey shows the team’s spirit and motto: “Never Say Die”.
The Australia 2023/24 Nike away kit showcases a vibrant trio of colors that represent the sea, sky and coral reefs of Australia. The inner pride graphic on this jersey also displays the team’s slogan and attitude.
The jerseys are also made with 100% recycled polyester from recycled bottles, as part of Nike’s wider Move to Zero journey towards sustainability.
The Australia women’s national soccer team will don their new kits as they take on Republic of Ireland, Nigeria and Canada in Group B of the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023.
