Video: Monterrey 4 – Cruz Azul 3 (Mexican Primera Apertura 2009 Finals)

[digg=http://digg.com/soccer/Monterrey_4_n_Cruz_Azul_3_Mexican_Apertura_2009_Finals]Los Rayados of Monterrey rallied from a 3-1 first half deficit to defeat Cruz Azul 4-3 in the first leg of the final of the 2009 Mexican Apertura playoffs.

Cruz Azul went ahead on goals from Paraguayan midfielder Christian Riveros in the 6th and 17th minutes and Argentine striker Emanuel Villa in the 34th.

Chilean international Humberto Suazo’s two goals (including an 88th minute game winner) and another from substitute Sergio Santana capped the hosts’ remarkable comeback heading into Sunday’s return leg in Mexico City.
