Vincenzo Iaquinta gave Juventus the lead in the 34th minute. Simone Loria equalized for AS Roma three minutes after the break before Iaquinta’s goal in the 55th minute sealed the Juventus win. Olaf Mellberg and Pavel Nedved added insurance goals later on in the match.

The win has Juventus sitting seven points behind leader Inter Milan. AC Milan lies in a distant third in the league.
