FC Girondins de Bordeaux 2016/17 PUMA home kit is inspired by the jerseys worn by the club when they won three French Ligue 1 titles in the 1980s.
Call “Maillot Eighties” (Eighties Shirt) by FCGB, the new shirt features a bespoke design from PUMA in Bordeaux’ well-know dark blue with white details. The v-shape that is a fixture of all of the team’s primary kits is relatively small this year and appears in the area beneath the shirt’s classic polo collar. Pinstripes accent the front of the new shirt to further the 1980s look. The back of the jersey is dark blue with PUMA’s ACTV muscle support strips on the inside of the player issue version.
The FC Girondins de Bordeaux 2016/17 PUMA home uniform is completed by white shorts and navy blue socks. The launch version of the strip is unsponsored as the club negotiates its commercial partnerships for next season.
