PUMA Japan has released the 2013 edition of the Para Mexico soccer boot. It is now available for sale on the Japanese market and as an import elsewhere.
The PUMA Para Mexico Light 13 is the latest in a line of heritage boots that have been released in Japan since the 1990s. They are based on the PUMA King boots worn by Diego Maradona and others during the 1986 World Cup in Mexico.
As with previous model’s of the Para Mexico, this year’s incarnation is made in Japan of Kangaroo leather. It comes in hard ground, mixed ground and soft ground versions in colors ranging from classic black to modern red, yellow and white at a price point of 18,795 Yen ($189 US).
