adidas 2013/14 French Ligue 1 Official Matchball

adidas and the Ligue de Football Professionnel (LFP) have unveiled the new Ligue 1 football for the 2013-14 season.

The new football will be used for the first time in official competition at the Trophée des Champions 2013, on 3 August in Libreville in Gabon.

The official Ligue 1 ball will be available from adidas shops, the adidas e-shop and selected outlets from 10 June 2013. A replica ball will be available for €25.

The new ball represents Ligue 1’s voyage into a new era with the modernisation of its stadia with a view on Euro 2016. A state-of-the art inspired stadium, seen from above, is also visible in the design.

The ball features all the latest technology and savoir-faire that is associated with adidas. The balls are constructed via a network of thermo-welded triangular panels to optimise stability in flight.
