Club León (usually called León) returned to the top-tier of Mexican soccer, Liga MX, for the first time in ten years at the start of the ongoing Apertura 2012 season.
The team is currently in third place in the league table and will be looking to add to its trophy collection that already includes five Primera División titles.
Ahead of the kickoff of the Apertura 2012 season, the Club León 2012/13 home, away and third jerseys (now available at World Soccer Shop and Tienda Fútbol Mundial) were launched with the assistance of several soccer babes.
They are provided by Mexican sportswear firm Pirma (also kit providers for Ascenso MX clubs Estudiantes Tecos and Necaxa) and have all been worn in match action during the current season.
The Club León home jersey is in its traditional green while its away shirt is predominantly white. Las Esmeraldas (Emeralds) playing range is completed by a pink third kit.
