The United States men’s national soccer team defeated Mexico 1-0 in an international friendly at El Estadio Azteca in Mexico City on Wednesday night.
Michael Orozco Fiscal scored for the Americans in the 80th minute while goalkeeper Tim Howard made two key saves towards the end of the match to give the USA a historic first ever win against El Tri on Mexican soil. The US had previously lost all but one of its matches at Mexico over the past 75 years.
