Twenty-eight time Paraguayan Primera División champions Cerro Porteño unveiled their Diadora 2012 home and away jerseys on Wednesday night. The new Azulgrana kits are the club’s centenary shirts as it celebrates the 100th anniversary of its founding in 1912.
The Cerro Porteño Diadora 2012 kit launch took place at Asunción’s Vulcan nightclub. Current players Roberto Nanni and Juan Manuel Lucero modeled the new kits while Paraguyan soccer babes Paty Orué and Lorena Arias did promotional work for the club.
Cerro Porteño kicks off its Apertura 2012 campaign on February 5th against Sportivo Luqueño. The club will also participate in the 2012 Copa Sudamericana courtesy of its second place league finish last season.
