LD Alajuelense PUMA 2012 Kits / Camisetas

LD Alajuelense (also called Liga Deportiva Alajuelens  or LDA) is a Costa Rican soccer club currently playing in the Primera División de Costa Rica. The club is the defending Costa Rican Primera División champion having topped the table at the end of the Torneo Invierno 2011 (2011 Winter Tournament). Among the most successful of Central American clubs, LDA has also won the CONCACAF Champions’ Cup twice – in 1986 and 2004.

Last night Liga Deportiva Alajuelense launched its PUMA home, away and third kits for 2012. They use a PUMA King design also used for the 11/12 Newcastle United away and third kits and the TSG Hoffenheim home shirt amongst others.

Several Costa Rican soccer babes were hand to model the new strips for the public and press. LD Alajuelense kicks off the Verano (Summer) 2012 season on January 19th when it travels to Belén Siglo XXI for its first match of the season.
