Kit launches out of Japan continue ahead of the J. League’s March kick-off. One of the latest was the highly-anticipated unveiling of the Sanfrecce Hiroshima Nike 2012 home, away and third kits on Saturday.
The 2011 7th place J. League Division 1 finisher’s kit collection features purple home, orange away and white third shirts. The designs used for the jerseys appear to be new Nike designs for the American firm’s 2012 kit cycle.
As the Toyo Kogyo Soccer Club, Sanfrecce won five Japan Soccer League titles from 1965-1970 and three Emperor’s Cups. The club’s best J1 finishes were second place in 1993 and 2004. It also won the 2008 Japanese Super Cup.
