FIFA Team of the XXth Century of CONCACAF Deportivo Saprissa S.A.D.(formerly known as C.D. Saprissa) is Central America’s and Costa Rica’s most successful soccer club.
Twenty nine time Primera División de Costa Rica and CONCACAF Champions’ Cup winners in 1993, 1995, and 2005, Saprissa is the only team from the region apart from Mexico’s Necaxa to place third in the FIFA World Club Cup.
The Saprissa Joma 2012 home and away kits were presented to the press and public at an elaborate ceremony at El Museo de los Niños in San José on Monday night with the help of a couple of soccer babes. The club kicks off its 2012 Verano (summer) season on January 15th against Puntarenas FC at the fabled Estadio Ricardo Saprissa Aymá.
