Video: Indonesia 2 –Malaysia 1 (AFF Suzuki Cup 2010 Final 2nd Leg Highlights)

Malaysia won its first AFF Suzuki Cup title on Wednesday despite losing 2-1 to Indonesia in the second leg of the competition’s final at the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium in Jakarta.

Goalkeeper Khairul Fahmi Che Mat saved an early penalty while Safee Sali netted his fifth goal of the tournament to give the visitors a 4-2 aggregate win in the home and away series following Sunday’s 3-0 win in Kuala Lampur.

Malaysia had lost its opening match of the Southeast Asian Championship 5-1 to the Indonesia. However, the Tigers then allowed only three goals in their last five games en rout the cup title as they triumphed over 2008 champions Vietnam in the semi-finals before surprising the favored Indonesians.
