Video: Pro Evolution Soccer (PES) 2011 Trailer

It’s almost that time of year for the annual battle between soccer videogame megaseries Pro Evolution Soccer and EA Sports FIFA. Here is a first good look at Pro Evolution Soccer 2011 (PES 2011) courtesy of an official Konami trailer released during the recent Electronic Entertainment Expo, commonly known as E3, trade show in Los Angeles.

Based on the trailer, PES 2011 appears to have absolutely mouth-watering gameplay, graphics and skills (see 1:20 into the video for Cristiano Ronaldo’s and Lionel Messi’s signature moves). Konami has also incorporated the Copa Libertadores (South America’s equivalent to the UEFA Champions League) to the game’s tournament options. PES has featured the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League starting with its 2009 version.
