Defender Alvaro Arbeloa opened the scoring for Los Merengues in the 65th minute with his first league goal for since signing for the club last summer.

Ronaldo got his first from a header of Kaka’s meticulously placed cross in the 71st. Kaka set up Ronaldo again a minute later with a low pass that Ronaldo slot into the net.

The result leaves Real Madrid second in the La Liga table on 53 points, two behind leader FC Barcelona, who are at Atletico Madrid on Sunday.
