ESPN2 English Premier League & Spanish La Liga U.S. December 2009 Broadcast Schedules
[digg=http://digg.com/soccer/ESPN2_English_Premier_League_U_S_December_2009_Schedule]Since August when ESPN announced that it would air English Premier League games in the United States for the first time since the 1990s, we’ve enjoyed some great EPL action on ESPN2 on Saturday mornings and a couple of Monday afternoons.
ESPN has since added the Spanish La Liga to its portfolio and usually show either the Real Madrid or Barcelona game for the weekend every week. Add in their NCAA college soccer, Dutch Eredivisie, German Bundesliga and English Football League (the last three on ESPN360.com only) broadcasts and you’ve got a decent diet of the world’s game on the networks of ESPN. This is great in these hard times in which many cannot spare the extra cable fees associated with paying for sports packages that Fox Soccer Channel and Gol TV are found on.
To help you plan your soccer viewing activities next month, here is a listing of all of the games that will be shown on ESPN2 during the month of December 2009.
