Video: A.D.Alcorcón 4 – Real Madrid 0 (Spanish Copa del Rey Highlights)

The result of the game reflected the run of play as the minnows from the Madrid suburbs outplayed the European giant in front of 3,000 or so noisy fans.

Karim Benzema, Raúl González, Guti and Rafael van der Vaart all featured for Madrid.

Real Madrid’s home leg of the cup matchup is on November 10th at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Alcorcon currently lies in 6th position in the Segunda División B – Group 2. The team has never progressed to the Spanish second division in its history.

Real Madrid have not won the Copa del Rey since 1993. They also  suffered an upset last season when they were knocked out at the fourth-round stage by another third-tier side, Real Union, on the away goals rule.
