A long distance strike from Didier Drogba put the Blues up early before Milan fought back to equalize on a Clarence Seedorf goal. Milan maintained ball possession for much of the game but could not capitalize on it. New signing and Russian international Yury Zhirkov got the winner for Chelsea in the 68th in a series that involved 3 Chelsea shots on goal.
