SEATTLE (July 4, 2009) – With a roster consisting of mostly MLS players, the U.S. Men’s National Soccer Team dominated Caribbean Cup runners-up Grenada with a 4-0 victory against Grenada at Qwest Field in Seattle last night.
Man of the Match Robbie Rogers assisted on the first two goals by Freddy Adu and Stuart Holden before later adding one himself. FIFA Confederations Cup standout Charlie Davies scored the U.S.’s final goal shortly before being substituted in the 68th minute.
