Boston Breakers is an American professional women’s soccer team based in Boston, Massachusetts, United States. Founded in 2001, the team plays in Women’s Professional Soccer (WPS), the premier women’s soccer league in the United States. They’re currently in 2nd place in WPS’ 2009 standings. The club features a number of internationals including Heather Mitts, Angela Hucles and Amy Rodriguez of the USA, Kelly Smith of England and Fabiana of Brazil.
