adidas, the technical sponsor of the Real Federación Española de Fútbol and the Spanish National Team, has unveiled the 2024/25 home and away kits that Spain will wear during the upcoming UEFA EURO 2024 and over the next year.
The jerseys reinvent traditional elements, drawing inspiration from the country’s cultural identity while incorporating adidas’ fabric technologies, such as HEAT.RDY and AEROREADY, to keep players comfortable under pressure.
Aesthetically, the brand aimed to inspire a sense of pride and belonging by combining traditional elements with a modern style, creating something truly innovative while respecting and remaining loyal to Spain’s football heritage.
The Spain 2024/25 adidas home kit features the iconic red color, complemented by yellow trim at the bottom and sides, as well as on the badge, adidas logo, and the classic three stripes. This kit pays homage to the country’s national flower, the carnation, with an embroidered design on the back of the collar.
According to adidas, this symbol aims to unite fans and players, encompassing success and love. The shapes of the carnation blend with the shapes of the seas surrounding the Iberian Peninsula, forming wavy motifs that adorn the base of the shirt, resulting in a classic-looking kit with modern themes running through it.
For the Spain 2024/25 adidas away kit, an unconventional color scheme has been chosen, featuring turquoise and aquamarine tones mixed with red for the base and side panels. This aesthetic represents the vibrancy of a bustling Spanish beach in the middle of summer. The dynamic colors and shapes are meant to fuse together to express the excitement and hope shared by players and fans.
The Spanish men’s senior national team will debut the country’s 2024/25 adidas kits in international friendlies against Colombia and Brazil later in March.
