Atlético de Madrid 2021/22 Nike Fourth Kit
Defending Spanish LaLiga champion Club Atlético de Madrid revealed its 2021/22 Nike fourth kit on Tuesday. The all red jersey will be worn by the club’s Copa del Rey match against Real Sociedad in late February.
Atlético de Madrid says that the jersey’s red is inspired by the shirts that the team wore for the first leg of the 1974 European Cup semi-final at Celtic FC and for its 1985 Copa del Rey final victory Athletic Club.
The kit features the crest that was adopted when then Atlético Aviación changed its name to Atlético de Madrid on January 1, 1947.
“75 años honrando tu nombre” (75 years honoring your name) is placed at the mid-chest of the jersey.
