La Real Federación Española de Fútbol (RFEF) has released an unbranded limited edition kit to commemorate the 100th Anniversary of the first ever match played by the Spain men’s national soccer team.
The retro-styled shirt’s design is based on the cotton kit worn by La Roja when they defeated Olympic silver medallists Denmark 1-0 on August 28th, 1920 in Amberes. The occasion is recognized via a print on the outside upper back of the shirt.
The Spain 100th Anniversary kit is limited to 1,409 units. The number is equal to the amount of goals scored by the former World Cup and EURO champions to date. It is packaged in a collector’s box.
