Erreà Sport and KSI (The Football Association of Iceland / Knattspyrnusamband Íslands) today launched the home and away kits that will be worn by the Icelandic national team during their UEFA EURO 2016 campaign.
The new kits will continue to be worn by the Iceland men’s and women’s team until mid-2017.
The Iceland EURO 2016 Errea home and away kits use modern bespoke design from the Italian firm. In home blue and away white, the shirts carry a slimfit with a contemporary v-neck collar that ends with a neck insert on its front.
A vertical band in the blue, red and white of the Icelandic national flag runs vertically along the front left of the jersey. Errea says that the colors and stylistic details of the kits perfectly express the natural wonders that Iceland are known for.
The inside neck areas of the new Iceland kits feature the the words “Fyrir Island” (For Iceland) while the “Island” (Iceland) is repeated across their neck taping.
Iceland will debut their 2016/17 Errea home and away kits during international friendlies with Denmark and Greece in late March. The team will face Austria, Hungary and Portugal at EURO 2016.
