Video: Nike Football Brasil – “Defeat Your Own Shadow”

To introduce a striking new Brasil home and away national team kits, Nike Brasil has unveiled a spot called “Defeat Your Own Shadow” featuring star players Neymar, Paulo Henrqiue Ganso, Alexandre Pato and Thiago Silva. The fast-paced action segments feature players challenging every ball against their own shadow while sporting the new home and away kits.

As the plot unfolds, the legendary Ronaldo, promiment player Thiaguinho, Brasil national team coach, Mano Menezes, Argentinian star Mascherano and Neymar’s father join the fray. The MMA fighter Anderson Silva and the rapper Emicida completes the line up of iconic names on the spot.

“The video pits the star players against their most relentless foe — themselves,” says Guilherme Glezer, Nike do Brasil Brand Communications Manager. Fans got a chance to see the new home kit for the first time on pitch against Bosnia in a recent friendly match.
