England right back Glen Johnson’s solo effort after collecting a well-placed Charlie Adams’ pass in the 87th gave Liverpool a 2-1 over Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Sunday to see the Reds move into sixth place in the English Premier League.

Maxi Rodriguez put Liverpool ahead in the 33rd minute before half-time substitute Daniel Sturridge equalized in the 55th minute.

The Blues’ third defeat in four league games leaves them in fourth place with 22 points, the same as Liverpool, Tottenham and seventh-place Arsenal.
