Victory in the return fixture in France on November 2nd will see the nine time European champions qualify for the UCL Round of 16 with two matches to spare.
Los Merengues outshot the former French champions 18 to 8 as they maintained the lion’s share of possession during the match.
Real’s goals came from Karim Benzema in the 19th, Sami Khedira in the 48th, a Hugo LLoris own goal in the 55th and Sergio Ramos in the 81st.
