Neymar Joins Cristiano Ronaldo on Pro Evolution Soccer 2012 American Cover

Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. has announced that Neymar da Silva Santos Júnior, Santos’ main striker player, is joining Cristiano Ronaldo as featured cover athlete for Pro Evolution Soccer 2012, set to release in the Americas on September 27th. Both players embody the many advances the game offers this year. The cover will be an Americas-exclusive, being distributed on USA and Latin America territories, in order to better appeal to such a selected audience.

Neymar’s minutes were decisive for Santos in the Copa Santander Libertadores, in which the Brazilian team came out as the champion, in a stellar match against Peñarol (from Uruguay). Since Neymar is one of the most electric and well respected Brazilian soccer player at the age of 19, as well as an already known presence on Pro Evolution Soccer 2012, Konami has decided to put him on the cover of the franchise’s new iteration.
