Chelsea FC Juan Mata Presentation

Spanish international Juan Mata completed his transfer from Valencia CF to Chelsea FC on Wednesday. He becomes new Chelsea boss’ Andre Villas-Boas’  fourth signing of the summer following the arrivals of Oriol Romeu, Romelu Lukaku’s and Thibaut Courtois at Stamford Bridge.

Mata signed a five-year contract with the Blues following a four year stint at Valencia that saw him score 43 times in 179 appearances. He has made 12 senior international appearances for 2010 FIFA World Cup winners Spain and captained the Spain side that won the UEFA Under-21 Championship earlier this summer.
