Video: Chile 2 – Mexico 1 (Copa America 2011 Highlights)

Chile came from a goal down to defeat Mexico 2-1 in both teams’ opening match of Copa America 2011 in San Juan, Argentina on Monday night. The win gives Chile first place in Group C of the competition following the 1-1- draw between Peru and Uruguay earlier in the evening.

Mexico (comprised its Under-22 squad) went up 1-0 in the 41st on a Nestor Araujo header. An experienced Chile featuring many of its FIFA World Cup 2010 veterans responded with goals from Esteban Paredes in the 66th and Arturo Vidal in the 71st to claim the victory.
