Leonardo Presented as New Inter Milan Manager

Former AC Milan midfielder and manager Leonardo was officially presented as the new manager of Inter Milan on Wednesday.

The 1994 FIFA World Cup winner with Brazil takes over from the sacked Rafa Benitez with the Nerazzurri lying in a disappointing 7th place in the 2010/11 Italian Serie A. Under previous manager Jose Mourinho, Inter won the league, Coppa Italia and UEFA Champions League titles during the 2009/10 season.

Leonardo played for Inter’s fiercest rival, AC Milan, from 1997 to 2001. He managed the club for the 2009/10 season but left the post at the end of the season citing “difficulties” with owner Silvio Berlusconi.
