Video: Real Madrid 5 –Athletic Bilbao 1 (Spanish La Liga Highlights)

Real Madrid responded to FC Barcelona’s 8-0 rout of Almeria with a 5-1 trouncing of Athletic Bilbao in the Spanish La Liga on Saturday.

Cristiano Ronaldo led the Real Madrid onslaught on the Basque club with three goals while Gonzalo Higuain and Sergio Ramos were also on the scoresheet for Jose Mourinho’s club.

Real Madrid remain atop La Liga with 32 points while arch-rivals FC Barcelona are in second with 31. The teams clash at Barcelona’s Camp Nou on November 29th in their first meeting of the season.
