Video: Real Madrid 1 –Auxerre 0 (UEFA Champions League Highlights)

An 81st minute goal from substitute Angel di Maria gave Jose Mourinho’s Real Madrid a 1-0 win over a stubborn AJ Auxerre in their UEFA Champions League group stage match on Tuesday.

Real Madrid dominated proceedings with 65% of the ball possession and 17 shots on goal but were kept at bay by a well-organized and composed Auxerre defence.

Real now tops their group with six points  from two matches in their quest for an elusive tenth European title.
