Video: NCAA D1 Women’s Soccer Violence – Round 2

Last Fall, University of New Mexico defender Elizabeth Lambert achieved some level of internet infamy when video of her manhandling unsuspecting BYU Cougar players in a Mountain West Conference Tournament semifinal went viral.

Now French soccer website L’Equipe has unearthed video of University of Oregon defender Mercedes Walter executing an MMA-style takedown of Oklahoma State forward Kyndall Treadwell during a match that took place last Friday. Unlike Lambert, Walter was summarily red-carded for her action. OSU went on to win the match 1-0.
