Video: Behind the Scenes of the New U.S. Women’s National Team Commercial

Ranked number 1 in the world by FIFA, the United States Women’s National Soccer Team recently opened their 2010 domestic season with a couple of wins over regional rivals Mexico. Up next for Team USA is a friendly with defending FIFA Women’s World Cup and UEFA Women’s Euro 2009 champions Germany in Cleveland, OH on May 22nd. This should be a match-up of epic proportions given the calibre of these sides.

While the US team was recently together for the Mexico friendlies, US Soccer filmed a commercial featuring the some of the team’s players in the weight room. While the final version of the commercial has not yet been released, here’s official behind the scenes footage of it featuring USA stalwarts like Hope Solo and Abby Wambach.
