Former Spanish La Liga regulars Real Zaragoza have released a limited edition 2015 kit celebrating the twentieth anniversary of their triumph on the 1994/95 UEFA Cup Winners’ Cup.
Furnished by Real Zaragoza technical partner Mercury, the commemorative shirt is based on the all white PUMA jersey worn by current Sunderland boss Gustavo Poyet and the rest of Los Blanquillos against Arsenal at the Parc des Princes in Paris in the final of the now defunct competition.
The names of the players who represented Zaragoza in the match appear in a subtle tonal print throughout the body of the shirt. The date, venue and score of the match are printed in blue on the nape area. A specially designed badge with a picture of the UEFA Cup Winners Cup and the text “1995 PARIS” is embroidered on the kit’s mid-breast area.
Now in Spain’s second division or Liga Adelante, Real Zaragoza last appeared in La Liga in 2013.
