Fred’s 90th minute equalizer against Paraguay salvaged a 2-2 draw for Brazil at Copa America 2011 on Saturday afternoon. The result leaves Brazil with two points from two first round matches and in danger of an early exit from the South American championship.

Jadson had given Brazil a 1-0 lead with a low shot from the top of the penalty area in the 38th before Paraguay went ahead with goals from Roque Santa Cruz in the 54th and Nelson Haedo Valdez in the 66th.
