Werder Bremen 2023/24 hummel Home Kit
The SV Werder Bremen home kit for the 2023/24 Bundesliga and DFB-Pokal seasons is a joint creation with hummel, their kit supplier. The jersey pays homage to the Danish sportswear manufacturer’s 100-year history, while also reflecting the green and white identity of SVW.
hummel is celebrating its centenary by teaming up with nine of their top football clubs to bring back one of the most iconic football jersey designs ever.
Werder Bremen is one of these clubs, and they have announced that they will wear a version of the legendary 1986 Denmark national team jersey design as part of the celebration.
The Werder Bremen 2023/24 hummel home jersey has a striking half-green, half-white pattern that shows the club’s and the fans’ passion for each other. The club’s classic green and white colours add a unique touch to the design.
“I think this is a very successful design that represents a good combination of Werder and our partner hummel. I am looking forward to seeing our team play the home games in this jersey,” says Klaus Filbry, CEO at Werder Bremen.
Other clubs that have revealed their new jerseys inspired by the ’86 design are the Danish national team, Southampton, AS Saint-Etienne, FC Köln and Brøndby IF. The remaining three clubs participating in the anniversary campaign will be revealed continuously during the summer.

The Werder Bremen men’s team will debut their 2023/24 hummel home kit during their Bundesliga pre-season friendly against SV Drochtersen/Assel on Sunday afternoon.
