Argentine powerhouse Club Atlético Boca Juniors have unveiled their second set of home and away kits since last November in the form of their 2016/17 Nike home and away jerseys.
They were revealed on Monday evening in Buenos Aires at an event announcing the club’s partnership with Chinese telecommunications firm Huawei (also endorsed by FC Barcelona striker and former Argentina captain Lionel Messi).
The Boca Juniors 16/17 home and away shirts feature Nike’s new AeroSwift fabric technology intended to increase moisture dispersion, reduce weight and support player movement. The home jersey is in Boca’s renowned dark blue / yellow chestband combination. The back of its rounded collar is also yellow. The new away kit is white with yellow and navy blue bands at its middle. It has a subtle v-neck with dark blue at the rear of its collar. Both kits have the team’s initials of “CABJ” on the back of their collars.
Boca Juniors will debut their 2016/17 Nike away kit when they travel to Ecuador to meet Independiente del Valle in the semi-finals of the 2016 Copa Libertadores on July 7.
