AS Roma 2016/17 Nike Home Kit

Back in training ahead of the upcoming Italian Serie A season, AS Roma today unveiled their 2016/17 Nike home kit.

The 2016/17 AS Roma home shirt features dark red horizontal pinstripes, punctuated by a subtle diagonal line from shoulder to hem inspired by Rome’s Colosseum. As an ode to club pride, the modern v-neck collar has a yellow band with ‘AS Roma’ knitted on the back in a stylized font. Red shorts are paired with the jersey for the first time in eighteen years on a Giallorossi uniform.

The sides of the kit feature a red stripe that runs the length of the shirt and shorts. Expanding when the player is in motion, the stripe maximises ventilation and reveals an underlying yellow layer.

Yellow socks, with a red linear graphic on the calf, showcase the club’s traditional secondary color and accentuate speed.

The AS Roma 2016/17 Nike home kit will be available at the World Soccer Shop, Subside Sports, UK Soccer Shop and Kitbag ASR stores.
