Umbro and the Football Association of Ireland (FAI) have revealed the away kit that The Boys in Green will wear at EURO 2016 and for the rest of the 2016/17 international soccer calendar.
Ireland’s EURO 2016 away shirt returns to the white that has served as their alternate color for much of their footballing history. It has been given a 1980s feel thanks to a series of clever green stripes on its sleeves. The stripes also appear on the lower flanks of the jersey.
The Ireland 16/17 change kit also features green on the backside of its rounded collar and for its Umbro and sponsor (for replica versions only) logos. The geographic coordinates of the team’s home ground (Dublin’s Aviva Stadium) are printed on its inside neckline in beneath a Celtic design.
