Bahrain is one of three international teams wearing kits from wear firm Romai. The near qualifiers for the 2006 FIFA World Cup signed a technical sponsorship deal with the Abu Dhabi-based sports in late 2014. They have since been joined by Jamaica and Palestine.
Many football fans around the world got a first look at the Bahrain 2015 Romai home kit when it was worn in Sunday’s 2-0 AFC Asian Cup group stage loss to Iran. The red contemporary v-necked shirt is joined by a similarly designed white crew neck away jersey in Al-Ahmar’s (The Red) latest match range.
Both kits use the red and white of the Bahrain national flag. The sawtooth separation between the red and white of the flag appears on the shoulders of each.
Fourth placed finishers in the 2004 Asian Cup, the Bahrain men’s national football team is currently ranked 110th in the world by FIFA.
