Sevilla FC 2014/15 Warrior UEFA Europa League Kit

Technical sponsor Warrior has unveiled the 2014/15 European kit of defending UEFA Europa League champions Sevilla Fútbol Club. It will be worn in match action for the first time when Los Rojiblancos (The Red and Whites) meet fellow Spanish La Liga side Real Madrid in the 2014 UEFA Super Cup on Tuesday in Cardiff, Wales.

The Sevilla FC 2014/15 Warrior European kit will be available at  Kitbag, Subside Sports, UK Soccer Shop and World Soccer Shop along with the club’s previously released 2014/15 home and away jerseys.

According to a Warrior Football press release: The final piece of Sevilla FC’s new Warrior kit line-up draws on the three Christian saints of the city – Isidore of Seville, Ferdinand III of Castile and Leander have been an influence on the new euro kit.

Sevilla coach Unai Emery is pleased the city’s saints are part of the kit, “The three saints are held in enormous high regard by all Sevillians and it shows that Warrior understands the club and this great city. We have an exciting season ahead and Warrior has supplied us with the weapons to hunt for more success.”

The emotive red, a prominent colour for the club, was chosen to anchor the shirt. The three panels devoted to the three saints are depicted in the two shades of red and black. The bold chest panel is accompanied by modern geometric designs and the jersey is finished with Seville FC embroidered into the nape of the neck. The kit is completed with red shorts and the corresponding dark red and black panels, while the socks are complimented with dark red loops and top line white piping.

The kit has been designed using Warrior’s revolutionary apparel system War-Tech, highly breathable material with ultra-wicking to regulate body temperature. An antibacterial finish has been applied to the fabric, slowing down the growth of bacteria which helps control body odour. Four-way stretch mesh panelling under the arms and on the back of the shirt has been incorporated to enhance comfort.

Kevin Gameiro, Seville’s top scorer this season said, of the kits: “I really like all the kits Warrior has made for the new season. I’m looking forward to wearing them and I’m sure that the fans will also be pleased with the new shirts.”

Head of Warrior Football Richard Wright said, “The reveal of this euro kit completes the second Warrior Sevilla kit collection – one we are really proud of. Our relationship with Sevilla FC got off to a brilliant start with an incredible 2013/14 season. We can’t wait to see these new kits in action and to see Sevilla continue to go from strength to strength in 2014/15.”
