French Ligue 1 club FC Sochaux-Montbéliard is recognized as one of the very best sources of young talent in France, with players like BenoÃ®t Pedretti and Pierre-Alain Frau finding their way to top clubs and the French national team. It is also known by USA soccer fans as the parent club of striker Charlie Davies (who spent last season on loan at DC United).
Following its 14th place in Ligue 1 last season, FC Sochaux-Montbéliard unveiled its Lotto 2012/13 away kit on Tuesday along with new signing Cédric Kanté. As is the case with Les Lionceaux’ (The Lions’) 12/13 home kit, the new jersey features a wide navy blue band that across the chest that extends underneath the sleeves.
It has a v-neck topped by navy blue polo collar with the clubs’s symbolic Lion on the rare inner upper back area. FCSM’s initials are printed on the rare upper back. Lotto’s logo appears on both shoulders.
