Paris Saint-Germain and Nike have unveiled the away kit for the club’s 2026/27 season. The jersey, built on a predominantly white base, centres on a substantial redesign of the central stripe — one of PSG’s most longstanding visual identifiers — and will be used throughout the club’s campaigns in French Ligue 1, the UEFA Champions League and the Coupe de France.

The iconic PSG central stripe has been significantly reworked for the defending UEFA Champions League champions’ 2026/27 away jersey. Rather than a solid band of colour, it now takes the form of a gradient of fine vertical lines that run from red into navy blue.

The treatment draws on the visual language of Op Art and references the energy of Paris’ electronic music scene, lending the stripe a sense of movement and rhythm that sets it apart from previous versions. It reads as a contemporary update to one of the kit’s most established graphic elements.

The PSG crest also receives a notable change, with the introduction of a lenticular treatment that mirrors the gradient approach applied to the stripe. Depending on the angle from which the badge is viewed, it shifts between shades of red and blue to produce a three-dimensional quality. On the pitch, the effect responds to player movement in real time, meaning the crest changes its visual character during a match rather than appearing as a fixed emblem.

In terms of concept, the PSG has positioned the 2026/27 away kit around the collective energy they associate with Paris as a city — a quality that flows, in their framing, through its neighborhoods, cultures and generations. Music and supporter communities are cited as central to that idea, and the design is cast as something that carries those associations with the team wherever they play, rather than being tied to a home venue.

The shirt will make its first on the pitch appearance during the club’s preseason in August, following the squad’s return from FIFA World Cup 2026, and will be worn throughout PSG’s 2026/27 domestic and European schedule.
